Vienna

When I told people I was going to Munich and Vienna for vacation most people had this reaction, "I love Munich/I hear Munich is beautiful.  Why are you going to Vienna?" I honestly couldn't think of a reason why you shouldn't go to Vienna, but if you need some convincing check out these pictures. It is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. The food is also amazing.

I loved Vienna so much. Of all the cities I've visited in Europe if I had to pick one to live in it would be Vienna. If you'd like to see more pictures, click here.

  1. I, on the other hand, could not figure out why you would delay going to Wien and waste any time in Munich! The Staatsoper, Schloss Schonbrunn, Hapsburghof, the Kunsthistorischesmuseum, Sachertorte, Mariahilferstrasse for shopping, and the Stadtpark at night for dancing to the Wiener Philharmoniker? How do you pass that up?!

  2. Ahh great photos! I loved Vienna (...I confess I mostly went to Austria to get to Salzburg/Sound of Music Tour, but still); have never been to Germany.

  3. I'd love to go back to visit Salzburg. We passed through on the train and it looked so beautiful.
